The Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police Department has gun locks available, through the Project Child Safe Program, to the public.  These gun locks are free to the public and available at the police station.  For more information please contact the police at 570-398-2146

Jersey Shore Borough Council announces the 2010 Council Meeting schedule along with Planning Commission meetings and Zoning Hearing Board meetings.  Council meetings will be held on the second and fourth Mondays of wach month.  Corough Council will also meet for a work session on the third Monday of each month.  All Council meetings, Planning Commssion meeting and Zoning Hearing Board meeting will be scheduled for 7:00 pm at the Jersey Shore borough Hall, unless otherwise advertised.  The Zoning Hearing Board meetings are scheduled to be held as needed on the first Monday of every month.  Planning Commission Board meetings are scheduled as needed on the third Wednesday of each month.

EFFECTIVE WITH THE FEBRUAY 8, 2010 COUNCIL MEETING, THERE WILL BE A COUNCIL MEETING THE SECOND MONDAY OF THE MONTH AND A WORK SESSION ONTHE FOURTH MONDAY.

This is a reminder of the ordinance regarding snow and ice.  Snow and ice must removed from the sidewalk within twenty-four (24) hours after the cessation of any fall of snow, sleet, or freezing rain.  If you have an elderly neighbor, be a good neighbor and clear their sidewalks. Violation of this ordinance will result in a citation.  Shoveling or blowing snow into Borough streets in prohibited.
