The Borough of Jersey Shore has been contacted by the Central Pennsylvania Film Office expressing their interest in inviting the cast of MTV’s hit show, the Jersey Shore, to our small town.  While we appreciate all the attention being given to the Jersey Shore Borough, we do not feel that the values portrayed on the television show are reflective of the values held by the people in our community.  Therefore  the Borough of Jersey Shore is not interested in pursuing any kind of filming opportunity with the cast of MTVs’ Jersey Shore.

The Borough of Jersey Shore is pleased to announce that the skating rink, located at the Thompson Street recreation area,  is now open to the public.  The skating rink was donated to Jersey Shore by CGG Veritas and is free to the public. 

Currently, there are 2 vacancies on the Pool Board Commission and 1 vacancy on the Recreation Commission that need to be filled.  Any Borough resident interested in serving on either of these commissions should send a letter of interest to:
