Formed in 1963, the Jersey Shore Historical Society is located in the 1846 Samuel Moss House at the corner of Smith and South Main Streets. The Society preserves this house as a museum for Jersey Shore Borough and area history, and provides a glimpse of period furnishings and historical items.
