Borough Manager:

The Borough Manager is the chief administrative officer of the Borough and is responsible to the Council, as a whole, for the proper and efficient administration of the Borough's affairs. They supervise all municipal departments, except the police department, and hire all personnel, except those covered by civil service.

As a part of his duties and responsibilities, the manager prepares and submits the annual budget to the Borough Council. The manager is responsible for the administration of the budget after its adoption by the Council.

Bookkeeper:

Bonnie is responsible for all day-to-day, monthly, and annual bookkeeping for Jersey Shore Borough, including payroll, accounts payables and receivables, and annual audits.  Bonnie also manages the Jersey Shore Community Pool.

Administration Assistant:

Ashley is responsible for directing residents' concerns to the appropriate department, assisting the Borough Manager as needed, and handling all the administration work.

Zoning & Codes Officer:

Gene is responsible for the review and issuance of all zoning permits as well as inspecting work done under a zoning permit, including, but not limited to land development, subdivision, setbacks, and lot size, as well as enforcing specific Borough Ordinances and Codes as required by the International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC).

It is noted that permits are required for everything except painting, wall coverings, and floor coverings. Residents are required to complete an application form before a permit is issued. With the exception of a new construction or major reconstruction, most permits are issued within five (5) days of submitting the required application form.
