Community Events

If your organization or business is holding a community event, please contact the Borough Office with the information and we will be happy to share!

Jersey Shore Recreation Committee

The Jersey Shore Recreation Committee is asking for the community's help to collect #2 & #4 plastics. Our goal is to collect 500 pounds of these plastics to earn a free park bench from the Trex Company to be placed in the community. See below for a list of plastics included in #2 & #4 and places to take your plastics. We will be collecting plastics from March 1 to September 1, 2021, or until we reach our goal. If you have any questions please call Bonnie at Jersey Shore Borough at 570-398-0104.

The Jersey Shore Public Library will be holding a book sale on March 4; March 11; March 18; and March 25, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each Thursday in March. Stop in and support your local library. Click here for more information.

The Jersey Shore Public Library has kicked off their "Empty the Wall, Raise the Roof" fundraising campaign to raise money to replace the roof this Spring. Their goal is to raise $5,000. Stop in and choose an envelope from the wall that is labeled with the amount you wish to donate. Then, drop your donation in the envelope and place it in the collection box.
